Strauch Companies is a complex and fully equipped business team consisting largely of family, life time partners and employees. We don’t only operate our sites, but develop them as well. From operations to development, consulting and training, we know this business all too well. We believe passionately in the ARCO brand, and our success shows that.

The Beginnings

Strauch Companies was founded by Marc Strauch in 1990 with his first ARCO Mini Mart in Citrus Heights, California. Eight years later Marc partnered with his brother Matt and built their Roseville ARCO station. Shortly thereafter, the brothers began expanding their business by building stations in Folsom, Elk Grove, Rocklin and Cameron Park. In 2008 they purchased ARCO stations in Marysville, Sacramento and a second location in Elk Grove.

In 2011 the brothers purchased a station in Placerville, California, converted it into an ARCO AM PM and added a Schlotzsky’s Deli to the location.

Early 2015 they sold the business in Rocklin and constructed a new ARCO AM PM in Lincoln. August of 2015 the brothers purchased a site in Brentwood, California. This expansion has opened the scope of possibilities for the brothers as they look to the future with ideas of venturing out to continue to provide fast, friendly service to every community in which their stations are located.
